It seems the opportunity right now is to go within. The world has pretty much ground to a halt, so why not … right? This is clearly the opportunity we’ve been presented with. This is why I begin this show with a chapter from my book, The Extremely Busy Woman’s Guide to Self-Care, ‘The Big Illusion About Getting Stuff Done’.
Then I go on to interview my beloved yogini Kashi Ananda, who has recently taken her very special Tri-Yoga classes online. They are truly beautiful—slow moving, meditative, the wavelike essence of flow.(It’s like yoga meets tai chi!) This yoga has the power to relax your vibe, right down to your toes.
No matter where you are (or are not) with yoga, may this help you either reshape your practice or get started. It’s suitable for all levels from beginner to advanced.
So if you’re suffering in pandemic, shutdown hell right now, here is a soothing balm. Kashi shared the following:
Be sure to check out some of Kashi’s beginner Tri-Yoga videos to see this in action. Just beautiful!
Kashi Ananda, a senior teacher of TriYoga International, has studied with Kali Ray, the founder of TriYoga since 1991, and is on the TriYoga teacher training staff. Her lifelong exploration of movement, breath and spirit has strongly influenced her teaching style. Kashi has introduced and inspired many students in the flow of TriYoga who have since gone on to open their own yoga centers from Pennsylvania to South Africa. In her classes, Kashi creates a safe and joyful environment for students to enter deeply into the inner flow while giving clear and precise guidance for the correct alignments and the gentle spinal wave-like movements unique to TriYoga. The devotion, dedication and compassion that she brings to her teaching, reflect her many years of study with her Guru, yoga master, Yogini Kaliji. Kashi has over 23 years experience in teaching group classes, private and semi-private sessions, corporate classes, children, teens, monthly workshops, retreats and teacher training and is the owner/director of Devi Yoga Center in Sebastopol, California. www.deviyogacenter.com
