It is not often that I get to actually meet the interesting people who are out there sharing their hearts and minds online. And especially not when they live on the other side of the world. But for Vidya Sury – a prolific commenter on life and online philosopher who lives in India – that was just what I set out to do.
Vidya is a writer/editor/blogger who has a lot to say about gratitude, smiles, parenting, books, happiness, health and mindful living. On her website, she says ‘My prayer is to inspire a smile at the end of your visit, perhaps with the desire to bookmark and return.”
That’s it. Simple.
Vidya’s not selling high powered courses, nor is she pushing any particular agenda than spreading happiness, one smile at a time. After our talk, I did indeed walk away smiling … for no other reason other than I felt myself relax, and shift back to my own peaceful sense of time and place.
If you’ve been harried, stressed our and tired lately, put your feet up and relax … and listen to a woman in India’s take on how to live simply and at peace.
